TwoTimesTragedy exists to expose the devastating gaps in care after sudden child death and establish new national standards of effective support.
To do that, we must hear from the people who matter most: families who've faced this tragedy and professionals who've witnessed it.

Your story becomes part of something bigger – housed at the Centre for Sudden Death where thousands of experiences combine to create undeniable evidence that informs policy recommendations and drives national reform.
TwoTimesTragedy amplifies voices. The Centre conducts the research and transforms individual experiences into collective evidence.
Not speculation. Not theory. Evidence.

Around the UK, there is unacceptable variation in the care and support families receive after sudden child death – many receive no help at
all and are left isolated in their darkest time.
QUINTET is our scientific research programme of seven rigorous studies to understand what families and professionals face, what systems fail to provide, and how society should respond with the compassion, coordination, and accountability these families deserve.
There are multiple ways to get involved.
